SPRING SESSION IS CANCELLED FOR MY2019

Hopefully this message finds all families safe and in good health. After meetings with Nationals, Section, and Area it has been determined the spring session is cancelled given the COVID-19 Pandemic. Anyone who registered for the spring session only will be fully refunded within the next 10 days. All families who registered in the Fall of 2019 the National Bi-laws indicate no refunds after two weeks of registration citing act of god which this is.

We are a Non-Profit all volunteers; however, to help offset the cost and in hopes to see you all again very soon as we have the largest region in the area. The Board recently voted on a deep registration discount to our already lowest registration cost in the area for MY2020 which begins this fall right around Labor Day. The cost will only be $65.00 per player for MY2020 which is comprised of 8 games in the Fall of 2020 and 8 games in the fall of 2021. This breaks down to $4.00 a game! We will be opening up fall registration starting this Friday this amount is universal for returning players and new alike.

Just a breakdown a registration fee of $65.00: $20.00 goes to Nationals, any and all volunteers Tier 2 State Background check $25.00, and leasing of property pretty much puts the region at even. This is all we can do, but it will help given the economic uncertainties this has caused.

We still will be anticipating walking in the Flushing Day Parade in June, and fielding teams for the section tournament Coldwater Michigan. This information will also be available on our ever evolving website. We encourage every child to stay fit, get that ball out kick it around, work on soccer drills. Put down the video games and stay active.

Hope to see you all very soon and remember your all family. Registration will open for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 Friday morning via our website, and remember if volunteering you must submit the application for the background check.

Stay Safe and See you on the fields shortly!!

Our season starts Saturday, April 18th and will still be scheduled to start that day as of right now. Flushing AYSO will not be making any major calls if there were to be one yet. Our Region's Safety Directors and Regional Commissioners are in close contact with the Genesee Health Department, Flushing Community Schools, The State of Michigan, and the National AYSO Office. We emphasize and recommend to wash your hands constantly for at least 20 seconds with anti-bacterial soap. We will continue to update you with information as this is an ongoing situation.
